The Chevrolet Bolt EV offered a class-leading range of 520km on a single charge, but simply saying it wasn’t enough. We wanted people to experience that distance for themselves, yet we didn’t have enough vehicles for large-scale test drives.
So we created the world’s longest mobile banner, an interactive experience that challenged users to swipe a virtual Bolt EV across the full 520km journey.
Stretching over 1.9 billion pixels, the banner turned a product claim into a tangible demonstration of the vehicle’s long-range capability.

Results That Matter
The campaign transformed a technical feature into an engaging experience, generated strong interest in the Bolt EV, and earned international recognition as a Webby Awards Honoree.
To reward the dedication of those who made it to the finish line, one lucky participant won a family weekend at an eco-resort, creating additional social content and extending the campaign beyond the banner itself.
